New managers need to learn the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in their role, and training can provide the resources required for that. New managers are often left to learn on the job or mimic ways they have learnt from how they have been managed in the past, good and bad!
This can be a slow and stressful learning curve, fraught with overthinking and worry, if not handeled in the right way.
Training is an important part of any manager's development. Through training, managers can gain a better understanding of their role and how to manage people and teams effectively.
Training can help new managers build their confidence and improve and build their credability sooner and with authenticity. In addition, training can help managers develop their emotional intelligence, which is essential for navigating complex situations and leading with empathy.
In short, training provides new managers with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in their role, and is an essential part of any manager's development.
